Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day -- January 20, 2025

NAACP Branch President
Keith Rivers

The NAACP, for 114 years has chosen Freedom over passivity and complacency, from courtroom lawsuits to boardroom negotiations. The NAACP has demanded justice and civil rights, from picket lines to economic boycotts from school rooms to factory floors. We seek not merely a superficial justice procedure but a substantive, deeper form of justice derived from the spirit upon which this country was founded.

For 75 years (September 13, 1948), the Pasquotank  County Branch of the NAACP has fought and won many battles to end racism and injustice in Pasquotank County.

I encourage all to get involved, stay involved, and continue the fight for justice. We Win When We  Fight!
